KinslayerMUD is a free roleplaying game based on The Wheel of Time series written by Robert Jordan. Open since late 2002, KinslayerMUD offers dedicated Wheel of Time fans a place to interact with Jordan's world directly. The game currently has multiple races and classes, including the notorious blood-thirsty Trollocs.

Multiple clans allow players to take on a more deeply involved role in the world by gaining ranks, carrying out tasks and doing quests issued by clan leaders, roleplaying, and PK(playerkill) campaigns. Clans are very much player run, with the guidance of the immortal staff when the clan has a request they cannot take care of themselves.

The world is completely original, created by the dedicated builders using a complex version of OLC. Zones are constantly being revised as players request changes or feel that improvements could be made. New zones are being added constantly to allow players to explore new areas and uncover new secrets.

KinslayerMUD has a complex skill system. While no class is limited in what skills they can learn, they are specialized in their own class' skills.

While KinslayerMUD is a newer MUD, it has grown at a very rapid place, and is definitely a game worth considering.
