">ICv2 reports</a> that Wizards is indeed annoucing 4.0 today.  The new core books will be out in a year but oddly enough only one a month so you have to wait until July to get all three.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Wizkids is planning a big announcement at Comic-con tomorrow and while we're not sure what it is Comics Continuum reports that Universal Studios Consumer Products Groups mentioned Wizkids Clix line as a Heroes license.  Due to the popularity of Universals Heroes this could easily be the big announcement, frankly it's hard to imagine what could be bigger.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Wizkids has announced the giant figure for Halo ActionClix (or Haloclix) a battle damaged Scarab that's massive in size, like Galactus, Cuthulu and specter this is a hard to get figure that only can be bought via lottery (ie if you ticket gets called you can buy one) for a hefty $250.  But the Scarab is much larger then all of the previous giant figures clocking in at 24” x 24” x 20” while Galactus only about as tall as the Scarab but doesn't have the width or length that this beast of a figure has.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>A lot of Wizkids recent success has come from their Pirates CSG game, with some 20 million units sold in just 3 years, which is heavily inspired by Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean in not just feel but look so it comes as a bit of a surprise to find that Wizkids has just licensed Pirates of the Caribbean for a new game (one that hopefully is compatible with their Pirates game) since the Pirates CSG has done so well --why pay someone for a license that's easy to knock-off?]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.icv2.com/articles/news/10946.html" title="Site: ICv2 - WotC's D&D and Star Wars Lines" target="_blank">ICv2 reported</a> Wizard of the Coast's early 2008 D&D and Starwars products yesterday and one can help but fell a little underwheilmd, aside from an adventure,<em>Keep on the Shadowfell</em> we're getting <em>Worlds and Monsters</em> which is a behind the scenese look at creating D&D products and <em>Eberron Survival Guide</em> which is a <span style="text-decoration:line-through;">coloring book</span> picture book that shows off various locals of the Ebberon world.  Ebberon is also getting <em>City of Stormreach</em> which if like <a href="http://www.timewastersguide.com/review/1139/Sharn-City-of-Towers" title="Review: Sharn City of Towers">Sharn</a> could be a very good suppliment, however if it turns out to be like <a href="http://www.timewastersguide.com/review/1497/Cityscape" title="Review: Cityscape">Cityscape</a>, which was just a pale rip-off of Sharn you can pass this one up.]]></description>
